Hand-Generated Type

This project is a set of hand-generated type pieces, enhanced with bright visual effects in Photoshop.

This project began by simply printing out pieces of stock text onto paper and acetate sheets before folding and tearing them and just doing anything that could produce interesting imagery. While doinig this, I took plenty of photos whether I had faith in them or not just so I could have more at my disposal when entering the editing phase. In Photoshop, I layered two or more of the images together and drastically altered the colours. After editing, the images came out looking very bright and surreal, removing any ties to reality for a consistent fun and otherworldly visual style.
