This poster is a visualisation of my personal reflection on the ethics of being a designer on Gadigal land.

My reflection on country revolves around the idea that 'Country is all encompassing', meaning the land and all things that come with it are united under this umbrella of 'country'. I represented this idea by using natural colours of yellow, red and brown, often associated with Indigienous culture and creating dots inspired by dot paintings of the past. More importantly, I decided to print this entire poster design onto a piece of plywood. Wood and trees are the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about nature and having the texture of real, largely unprocessed wood come through the poster's design was an incredibly effective method to convey this idea. Through the magic of UV printing, the poster design itself was entirely imprinted on this A3 piece of plywood, perfectly immersing this poster into one of the purest forms of country.
